Emily is a Counselling Psychologist in Training, nearing completion of her doctoral qualification.
She has experience working in a range of settings including the voluntary sector, private practice, educational environments and NHS secondary care. Emily’s work has comprised of working therapeutically with individuals across age ranges from primary school to older adults. She has also worked with wider family and educational system and delivered training to client groups and professionals.
Emily uses integrative practice, drawing upon a selection of therapeutic approaches and techniques to create effective and sustainable change. She has experience working successfully with a variety of issues including relational difficulties, anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, personality disorders and trauma.
She has a strong focus on developing a collaborative environment, supporting clients to improve their psychological and emotional well-being.
Emily is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), the Division of Counselling Psychology (DCoP) and is listed on the Register of Qualifications in Test Use (RQTU).
